As Grand Seiko’s international reputation continues to increase, watch enthusiasts around the world are looking forward to more abundant ladies’ models. Today, a gorgeous limited edition watch is launched with a new ladies-only automatic movement.
The new 9S25 movement is presented in a limited edition watch with 37 diamonds on the bezel
9S25 automatic winding movement, perfect combination of slimness and performance
This new movement combines slimness with high performance. The thickness is only 4.49 mm, which is suitable for wearing on each wrist. At the same time, it has a power reserve of 50 hours under full chain, and the strength of the static day difference is +8 to -3 seconds. This is indeed a great innovation. The 9S25 movement uses Grand Seiko’s most advanced technology, including the latest generation of Spron 610 alloy used in springs and hairsprings. The escape wheel, pallet, and other major components use MEMS (microelectromechanical systems) processing technology. . In order to maximize the transmission efficiency of the gears, the tooth train on each gear has also been completely redesigned. The design of the escapement wheel is lighter and more durable, while ensuring its strength. The frequency of this movement is 8 rpm and the number of stones is 33 stones. Like all other Grand Seiko mechanical watches, this watch is hand-made and assembled by the watchmaker in the Shizuku Advanced Timepiece Workshop in Morioka, Japan. Each 9S25 movement, like the Grand Seiko Men’s Mechanical Watch, has to undergo a very rigorous 17-day test without any compromise.
Blue steel screws, red painted logo and polished plywood
New escapement wheel with five petals
More than just a visual feast
Through the sapphire crystal case back, the new movement is carefully polished to present a charming light and beauty. The beauty of craftsmanship is not only presented on the surface, the escape wheel hidden inside the movement has five petal shapes. Under the pendulum, there are elegant and smooth plywood lines like a stream. When the pendulum swings back and forth, it can be glimpsed. The same details are displayed on the white grosgrain strap, which is lined with high-quality alligator leather.
From every detail, whether it is the surface visible to the naked eye or the hidden details in the movement, this outstanding jewellery watch fully reflects the high quality that Grand Seiko is known for. Every time you look at this beautiful dial, you can feel happy. The gorgeous appearance and inherent quality of this limited-edition watch, and even the manufacturing and assembly process of its components, reflect the high quality of luxury watches.
Snow-white dial surrounded by diamond bezel
The delicate pattern on the dial reflects the snow scene of northern Japan
The dial design is striking and subtle. The rich texture is composed of silver lines, inspired by the white snow on the rocky mountain. Under the rock of the mountain Iwate is the ochre advanced timepiece workshop that made this watch. The case is made of 18K rose gold. 37 diamonds are set on the bezel engraved with 60 diamond cuts. Another larger diamond is set on the crown. The dial uses 11 diamonds as the hour marker. . This watch is limited to 50 pieces worldwide and will be available in July 18th.
