The new Zenith Pilot’s Watch still retains the series’ most characteristic “onion head” crown and large Arabic numeral time scale. The case is also made of bronze with a vintage taste, continuing the tough charm of ‘Bronze Flying’. The case diameter is 45 mm, which is more suitable for men with thicker wrists.
El Primero Star Speed 4069 Automatic
The movement uses an El Primero 4069 self-winding movement with a power reserve of approximately 50 hours and is decorated with a Geneva wave pattern. In 1969, Zenith’s first integrated self-winding chronograph El Primero movement was born, setting off an innovative revolution in watchmaking. The El Primero movement is not only a high-performance self-winding chronograph movement. Most importantly, it has a one-piece design, which means that this movement has no additional modules, but uses a column wheel and balls. The outstanding structure of the bearing central automatic disc is completely different from other automatic chronograph movements of the time.
As a chronograph, the Zenith 29.2430.4069 / 21.C800 watch has a central chronograph hand, a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a small seconds indicator at 9 o’clock echo each other on both sides of the dial.
The dial uses Arabic numerals and is equipped with SLN C1 SuperLuminova super luminous material hands. At the same time, it uses a multi-faceted design and is coated with SLN C1 SuperLuminova super luminous material.
The mirror is made of lone star sapphire crystal glass with anti-glare treatment on both sides
The large onion crown is derived from the early pilot watch design. In order to make it easier for pilots to adjust and operate the watch while wearing gloves, a large crown came into being. Today, the big crown has become a vintage, homageous design and is very popular.
Oily matte leather strap with protective rubber lining
Bronze case, one of the most popular special case materials today, its retro taste and the sense of sight of military instruments make many men salivate, like poison, making tough guys unable to stop.
